Reiki
Michele Belson Reiki Master / Teacher
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing practice that originated in Japan. The word reiki comes from Japanese words:
-
Rei - Universal or Spiritual wisdom
-
Ki - life force energy
Reiki is based on the idea that life force energy flows through all living beings. When this energy is balanced and flowing freely, we experience greater harmony and well-being. When it is blocked or depleted, we may feel stress, fatigue or imbalance.
Reiki is typically offered through light touch, hands hovering above the body, or distance healing. The practitioner acts as a channel for Reiki energy, allowing it to flow where it is needed most. Reiki is guided by intention and flows for the highest good of the recipient.

Benefits of Reiki
People often report that Reiki can help with:

-
Support during times of change or healing
-
Increased sense of peace and well-being
Each person's experience with Reiki is unique. Some feel warmth, tingling or deep calm while others simply feel relaxed.

-
Reiki is not a religion or belief system
-
Reiki does not require belief to be effective
-
Reiki is not a replacement for medical or mental healthcare
Consent & Respect
Reiki is always offered with permission and respect for personal boundaries. Hands-on, hands off, or distance Reiki may be used based on comfort and consent.
